I haven't been checking in much lately. But I just witnessed a bizarre thing. Apparently Michael Newdow , the man fighting to have the words "under God" stricken from the Pledge of Allegiance lives just down the street. I learned this because there were several protesters standing on the corner of a residential street with very large signs. It was an odd sight since a tucked away residential street does not seem to be the most visible venue for a protest. There were was a photographer and appeared to be a reporter talking with them. A few people walking by seemed to be peeved by their presence.

I knew he lived in Sacramento, I did not know he lived in my neighborhood. Carry on.

I have a weird fascination with small house plans. Really the fascination is to find a neat little spot in the mountains, then plant a tiny little house (i.e. very little cost) there. I stumbled upon this local siteTumbleweed Tiny House Company that has a myriad of portable houses plans. So portable, some even have wheels. Interesting the fellow that started the company lives in 70 square feet.
